Hello Class,
The location of an advertised mobile plan that follows limited minutes was a daunting task since the majority of programs have unlimited minutes. I discovered Ting Mobile after my investigation. The telecommunication company offers a tiered strategy that is based on the talk minutes used. Ting states that the costs of call rates for customers who use more than 2100 minutes every month will be $35.00 and an additional 1.9 cents for every extra minute (“Ting Rates, “2019). In this regard, the formula below can help to determine monthly costs for customers.

In this formula, C = Total monthly cost, FILLER TEXT = minutes used, 2100 = Company’s threshold
Consider a hypothetical situation for a businessman customer who makes frequent phone calls that accumulated to 3005 minutes in that month. I would easily apply the formula to determine the cost the customer would pay for call services.
C = b + 0.19 (t -2100)
C=35+ .19(3005-2100)
C=35+ .19(905)
C=35+171.95
C=206.95 (Amount the customer paid)
Since the customer is a business person and an economist to some level, he would opt for a cheaper option that charges $ 15.00 monthly for every
250 minutes
and an additional 0. 16 per minute that exceeds 250. In this regard, the formula becomes C = 15.00 + 0.16 (t – 250). The monthly costs for 300, 1000 and 2,000 minutes using this formula are;
t = 300
t= 1000
t= 2000
C=15.00+ .16(300-250)
=15.00+ .15(50)
=15.00+ 7.50
=22.50
C=15.00+ .16(1000-250)
=15.00+ .15(750)
=15.00+ 112.50
=127.50
C=15.00+ .16(2000-250)
=15.00+ .15(1750)
=15.00+ 262.50
=277.50
