Projects
Throughout the semester you will be given two projects (40 points each) namely Project 1 and Project 2:
1. Project 1
You will need to use the concept’s learned from Chapters 1-3. It is suggested that you start doing Project
1 after learning Chapter 3.
2. Project 2
You will need to use the concept’s learned from Chapter’s 1-7. It is suggested that you start doing
Project 2 after learning Chapter 7.
The instructor provides project answer sheets attached in the syllabus for each project. Project 1 needs to
be submitted on the scheduled date. While Project 2 needs to be submitted on or before the scheduled
date. Late project or project with no name will not be graded. Your work must be written neatly with
complete name (handwritten is fine). Your project grade will be based on the following factors:

You are expected to complete homework before deadlines of tests/exams.
You are expected to take exams on the scheduled dates (see attached course calendar).
The exam deadlines stated in this syllabus are tentative. The deadlines stated on the review
packets will supersede tentative deadlines.
When graded work is returned to the students, late tests or exams will not be accepted for
grading. If a student is transferred to another facility, the student is responsible to make
arrangements for testing and communication with the instructor.
Work submitted from the students who are not registered in the class will not be graded.
Students who take the same test or exam twice will get zero on the test/exam.
Students who have access to the Internet may use their Canvas account to download syllabus &
review materials, check their grade, and contact the instructor via Canvas.
In cases of cheating or plagiarism the instructor will take academic action as outlined in PVC
catalog.
