- Three to four companies. It includes the company you will be eventually selecting for the marketing plan.
- Market segments overview
Identify what segments are served by all the companies who compete in this industry. Can you offer information about each segment regarding its: size (numbers of consumers), purchasing power and profitability level, accessibility, and key differentiators?
Environmental and Financial standards for the industry
- Annual growth or lack of, demand trends, how companies market their goods/services, processes the industry has adopted to be more efficient, number of businesses competing, revenue and profits, profit margin.
Consumer (who is the overall consumer(s)? Demographics, psychographics, relevant buying patterns
