A Brief Executive Summary of the Internship
Al-Qarya Poultry Slaughterhouse is a sole proprietorship that produces and supplies
chilled chicken as a final product to its joint customers and their own shops after the chicken
slaughtering process and manufacturing a chilled product and several chicken categories under
their trade name ALSHAHI ALTAZIJ. The company is distinguished by using the latest global
technological methods in the production and packaging of poultry to ensure the highest levels of
quality and safety. The production journey begins by raising poultry on its own farms to ensure
product quality.
My role in this training period was to apply what I learned at the Saudi Electronic
University in my major in Business Administration. Some tasks were selected that would help
me develop my personal skills by giving me responsibilities that would enhance my skills, such
as dealing with people by receiving cash from our drivers and customers who deal with the
company’s administrative side. In addition, I was given the responsibility of carrying out banking
operations such as paying bills and transferring money to companies that provide us with
resources. I was responsible for coordinating between job applicants and the interviewer. I was
given the task of receiving customer complaints and suggestions and dealing with them to
provide the best customer service experience.

I express my thanks and gratitude to my training supervisor, Mohammed Alabdulal, for
his time spent teaching and training me during this short period at the time and full of wonderful
experiences. The training period was short, 280 hours, but it was fare enough because he gave
me tasks that enhanced my skills in the work environment and gave me the confidence which
allowed me to overcome difficulties with perseverance and not giving up.
I would thank my colleague Sakina as she helped me overcome the fears of the nature of
work and interaction with colleagues because I was shy and faced a lot of hesitation

Introduction
In this report, I would like to present my humble experience during this training period
and the results I obtained through this experience. I will provide an overview of the institution
where I started training and a general overview of the institution. Then, I will discuss the benefits
I gained during the training period and the extent to which this experience was reflected in my
job performance and the skills I acquired and their relation to my specialization at the university.
Chapter 1:
Description of the company
The company is one of the leading companies in Qatif region and one of the oldest, as it
is considered one of the first companies to appear in Qatif region and specializes in the
production of chilled chicken and its types. currently it is a competitor to several emerging
companies in same region such as Al-Taqwa, Al-Ghadeer, Al-Ain and Doha. The company
began as an authorized distributor for several restaurants until it reached the point of selling
through twelve branches in various regions of Qatif. It is considered a sole proprietorship and
includes several partners.
History of the company, mailing address
The company was established on 4/30/2008. The slaughterhouse is located in Alqaryah Alolya in
the Eastern Province. The branch of the administration office where I worked is located in Eastern
Province – Qatif – Alrabaah District – Alquds Street.

He is a veterinarian who supervises all farms in terms of carrying out daily routine matters such
as biosecurity and following up with those responsible for the pens in the processes of removing
chickens and cleaning operations to make sure that each person is taking responsibility to reach
highest quality of the birds and make sure they are safe while exit to the slaughterhouse

He is an employee who plays an administrative role within the farms and manages several pens
and manages the workers who work in the pens and ensures that they perform their duties ,such
as wearing the correct clothes and ensuring the safety of the cooling and heating devices and
managing the process of entering feed into the pens and water and other things in the farm

The company raises chickens in its own farms and then directs the chickens from the
farms to the slaughterhouse to complete the slaughtering process. Then the chickens are cleaned
and sorted into several large and small weights, then cooled. After that, the packaging and
packing process is carried out in the company’s drivers’ cars and transported to all customers
such as retail customers, chicken classification shops, our own shops and restaurants.

the basic system by subscribing to a single server shared by employees to exchange important

produces healthy, clean and best quality products by keeping the product refrigerated and make
sure it is in cool plase so that it is not damaged. The company uses high quality medicines and
detergents to ensures product safety.

The treasurer uses the Excel writing method to calculate bank and cash expenses and revenues to
know how to deal with money and not lose it

The company analyzes marketing and sales data through the SMACC accounting
program, through which it issues the required reports based on the data entered into the program
on a daily basis. After that, the employee analyzes the data to determine the ability to market
new products or make promotional offers to increase sales in the company

Internship activities
The employee, Mohammed Alabdulal, who holds the position of treasurer in the administration
department, supervised me, as well as one of the accountants helped me explain some of the job duties. I
was given some tasks such as:

Learning how to write receipt vouchers and receive money from customers, paper money,
and through point-of-sale receiving devices. When I start this task I was feeling afraid to
face people and unable to start work, but then I Faced my fears day after day and that
made me more confident in dealing with people.

Also I had been chosen to receive money from the company’s drivers and giving them a
receipt. That allows me to face people and gave me the self-confidence that would help me in
my major in business administration.

Transferring money to companies that our company deals with and and writing a paper
showing the details of completing the transfer process.

Calculating employee salaries

And the task of collecting from customers, so that I communicate with them in order to pay their
debts
