It should cover the same content that your book report covers, but you should not be reading your book report to the class.
You can use props, handouts, or a power point but you should not be reading directly from it. If we can read the content on the screen or on the sheet fasters than you can read it to us, you should rethink your presentation.
Your PowerPoint should provide, and overview, summary, or direction and you should provide the context. You can bring in real world comparison data/charts to help improve your context.
– Book Report –
You book report should be APA format with title page. 3 pages long and provide a summary of the content of the book, what you liked and what you didn’t, a personal takeaway about how aspects of the book made you feel/think, a personal story if you have one, and would you recommend the book to others. Also include in the book the relevancy of some of the content, does the book talk about how a company was so great and we should learn from them, or a person was so great and we should learn from them, only to now know with hindsight the many mistakes the person or company has made that has driven them down or out of business.
(Example) – Does the book say Sears is a great retailer who is well capitalized and understands its customers and markets and leads retailers in providing great products and great service to its customers? 2024 where is Sears now?
Hindsight is 20/20 – well how can hindsight help you learn more from the content within the book.
