Question 1

You are leading a new team and want to harness their creativity. What processes or methods would you use to minimize the threats to creativity and promote innovation among your team members?

Directions: Since creativity is the topic this week, here’s a chance for you to be creative in responding to the question. Instead of writing your response, create a short narrated PowerPoint (PPT) presentation with your answer. If you need a refresher on working with PPT, here’s a basic guide from Microsoft:

Question 2

Here is an exercise in thinking outside the box. On the attached sheets there are common sayings and phrases disguised as word puzzles. Try solving the puzzles on your own first, then share your answers with your team members and see if you can get them all correct. To give you some inspiration (and examples), I’ve provided the answers to the first set of puzzles. Have fun! The answers will be posted at the end of the week.
